She Made Me

I wouldn't be here if it weren't for her.

LOGLINE: An entity navigates their loneliness in a surreal hypnagogic landscape of emotions.

SYNOPSIS: There is a kind of loneliness which occurs in crowded environments and which floats on palpable emotional landscapes. Internally, we generate conflicts through our struggle or failure to connect to the essential elements of our existence. Profoundly conflicted, we cannot appreciate our pure and honest nature. Our torment eventually consumes us, forcing us to find the source of our vitality outside of ourselves, a hypnagogic state to which we fully attach our love, where memories are neither vivid nor faded. Life accumulates in layers and one of these layers is you. You made me. But I consumed myself.

FASHION: This film is stylistically heavily inspired by the vogue dance scene, its movement characteristics and fashion which embodies the spirit of extravagance and is exaggerated and artificial. At the same time, the main character undergoes a very intimate process of transformation and self-degradation.
